Roll-Formed Headless Fasteners
Since 1967, Hanger Bolt & Stud has
been manufacturing roll-formed headless
fasteners (hanger bolts) for a variety of industries. Two examples of the company’s
diverse product line include Rail Bolts,
named for their use in the connection
of sections of handrails, and Bed Pins,
so-called for usage in the connection of
headboards to the side of rails of beds.
The company’s 55,000 square-foot facility in Greenfield, IN, has a capacity of
more than 1 million fasteners per day.
Aluminum French Cleats
Brooklyn Hardware, LLC manufactures aluminum versions of the French Cleat. The
company offers four different profiles that
allow users to hang lightweight to heavy
items on any vertical surface. Brooklyn
Hardware's profiles are used to attach
items to a wall without the fasteners showing and to preserve the face of a panel.
Knape & Vogt has launched a new heavy-duty slide series with soft-close technology.
Used for wide drawers with high weight
load capacity, the company says the
8650/8655FM series is a first in its lineup
of precision ball-bearing drawer slides. The
force management (FM) technology is a
KV-patented design that manages pull force
and results in a drawer that opens smoothly
and closes softly and securely with no
rebound. Recommended for use in drawers
up to 36 in. wide, the slides are designed
on a 1/2-in. profile and feature a butterfly
lever disconnect for ease of installation.

42, and 48 inches, and are offered with
and without corbels shown. Designed to
hang like other wall-mount wood hoods
that feature a French cleat, all hanging
hardware, along with the steel liner, are
included with the hoods.
