40 Under 40, Trailblazers
Reception honors rising stars of the woodworking industry.
The future of the woodwork- ing industries is in good hands, if the quantity and quality of nominations for
the annual wood industry 40 Under 40
program are any indication.
Since the popular leadership recognition program was launched in 2016,
hundreds of accomplished professional
woodworkers under 40 have raised their
hands or been nominated by co-workers,
suppliers, customers or associations.
Whether they serve in management,
manufacturing or marketing, 40 Under
40 nominees have taken the reins in
their own organizations and are poised
to make an impact.
This year’s members of the Class of
2018 sponsored by Wood Machinery
Manufacturers of America ( WMMA) will
be honored on August 21, the evening
before I WF Atlanta expo halls open, at
the Woodworking Network Leadership
Reception, Georgia World Congress
Center, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The 40 Under 40 Class of 2018 presen-
tation is the highlight of the well-attend-
ed reception. Woodworking Network
is also inviting to this year’s reception
attendees of its August 21 Woodworking
Network symposia, FDMC 300 represen-
tatives, FDMC Market Leaders and Wood
100 to this year’s reception at IWF.
