Flexible CNC router
Komo Machine, Inc has introduced the
new Flex series, the newest generation
of CNC routers. The company say the
Flex and Flex TT are the most economically priced machines in its product line.
The Flex series is offered in single- and
twin-table configurations while both models
feature a fan-cooled spindle, a 12-position
automatic tool changer with aggregate
capability, air blast for optimal dust/chip
evacuation and cooling of the cutting tool,
and advanced Fanuc HVI servo system.
Also included is a tool touch-off device
with automatic tool data uploading, Fanuc
Panel i-control with integrated PC, and
a universal grid fixture table available in
standard composite or aluminum.
CNC for timber & laminated beams
Biesse says its Uniteam CK processing
center is engineered to meet the demands
of flexible 5-axis CNC machining of mass
timber and laminated beam components. It
is equipped with a fixed doorway structure
that houses the working units used for the
main machining operations. The machine's
system for moving beams uses the controlled movement of independent clamps
and every clamp has both vertical and horizontal clamping, which can be automatically excluded to allow for every machining
operation required. Designed with flexibility
to handle standard woodworking cuts, it
features auto load and offloading solutions
that can be combined with multiple machining units with automatic tool-changing.
High-speed CNC router
Homag says the Vantech 510 PRO+, provided exclusively by Stiles Machinery and
made in the U.S., offers a robust foundation for high-speed routing capabilities
and maximum precision. The CNC router
includes the PRO Series Auto-Set Matrix
Table with near-zero setup, 8-position
automatic tool changer and easy-to-use
touch-screen controls. Windows-based
wood WOP software comes standard,
with other features including a Quik-Pod
system for added flexibility, dual drive
gantry, and pneumatic positioning pins.
Router steered by guidance system
Shaper Tools Inc.'s Shaper Origin is a
hand-held router that can be steered by
a smart-phone sized guidance system.
The user guides the router's cursor within
a general guide shown on the display,
and the system keeps the cutting head
precisely on track, cutting even and
consistent curves, engraving patterns and
logos, and executing other cuts.
CNC router with Fanuc control
Limtech Industries introduces a new release
of its Orion CNC router series with Fanuc
controller. A solidly built machine with a
solid Fanuc industrial, it features a high-end
mechanical drive configuration, along with
top of the line, brand-name components
and operating features, the company says.
